Cell is the basic unit of our body and these groups of cell unite together and forms tissue and group of organ unite together and forms system and this system and these systems are responsible for functioning of our body.
All systems are linked internary and do their independent work. There are 10 systems which run our body including :

There are two parts Central Nervous System (CNS) and Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) in vertebrate
CNS consists of brain and spinal cord.
PNS consists mainly of nerves. Which are connect to CNS.
There diffent types of nerves Motor and Sensory Nerves. There function is to transmit signal and collect information to and from the different parts of body For action.
It futher subdivided into Sypathetic and Parasympathetic nervous system.
It activates when organisms are in relaxed state.
The Nervous system is derived from Neurons. Neurons are comprised of special type of cells called nerve cells.
Property of neuron :
It communicate with other cells via synapse.
Synapse are the junction between two cell membrane containing molecular machinery that allows rapid transmission of signals either electrical or chemical.
Many types of neuron possess an axon, a protoplasmic protrusion that can extend to distant parts of the body and make thousands of synaptic contacts;
axons typically extend throughout the body in bundles called nerves.

This is the most complicated system of our body. It is a cordination center to controls the action of body by collecting sensory information and passing to and from different parts of the body. There are two parts Central Nervous System (CNS) and Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) in vertebrate
- Central Nervous System (CNS)
CNS consists of brain and spinal cord.
- Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
PNS consists mainly of nerves. Which are connect to CNS.
- Type of nerves :-
There diffent types of nerves Motor and Sensory Nerves. There function is to transmit signal and collect information to and from the different parts of body For action.
- Motor nerves: The nerves which transmit signals from the brain are called Motor Nerve. It is also known as efferent nerve.
- Sensory Nerve : Those nerves which transmit information from the body to CNS called Sensory nerves. These are also called afferent nerve.
- Mixed Nereve : Those nerves which involves in both fictions of sensory and motor function is called mixed nerve. Spinal nerve is mixed nerve.
- PNS further divided in ,and subsystem as Somatic, Autonomic and Entered nervous system.
- Somatic nervous system : It mediates voluntary movements of the body.
- Autonomic nervous system :
It futher subdivided into Sypathetic and Parasympathetic nervous system.
- Sympathetic Nervous System : It activates in case of emergency To mobilize energy. It acts as defence.
- Parasympathetic Nervous System :
It activates when organisms are in relaxed state.
- Enteric Nervous System : It's function is to control the Gastrointestinal system. It function involuntarily.
- Cranial Nerve : Nerves that exit from cranium are called cranial nerve.
- Spinal Nerve : Nerves that exit from spinal cord is called spinal nerve
- Structure of Nervous System
